The Frênes loop is suitable for families, as most of the route is on small, safe paths.

You'll follow the canals, the conches of the Marais Poitevin and the undergrowth. Take the opportunity to visit the pretty village of Damvix, with its harbour and fishery. The southern part of the loop is located in the Deux-Sèvres (at "Monfaucon" and "la Rivière" in the commune of St Hilaire la Palud).
