The forest of Mervent-Vouvant

The biggest woodland of Vendée

The forest of Mervent-Vouvant is the biggest woodland of Vendée with its 5000 hectares of trees crossed by rivers with several dams that transform them into lakes.

Surrounded by oaks and rivers, take the time to appreciate the forest through a hike, some mountain biking or even some horse riding.  On the lake, situated in the middle of the forest, you’ll also have the opportunity to rent an electric boat, do some stand-up paddle and canoe. Finally, don’t hesitate to visit the Natur’Zoo of Mervent or the Pierre Brune Park.
