Our motto this year will be to take part in the fun.

There will be no prize-giving, just a simple presentation of the work that is appreciated the next day.
Until 1970, taking and obtaining the Certificat d'Etudes (CE P or Certif') was the high point of elementary school education (12 to 14 years depending on the year).

The exam was officially abolished in 1989.

But in Fontenay, the Autrefois l'école museum team makes a point of offering a similar examination, usually in October: this...
